I believe therapy is a creative process and with the correct tools, individuals can move forward to resolve the challenges life holds. I am passionately committed to empowering clients to achieve the life they desire. My goal as a therapist is to help you discover your inner strength to overcome life’s challenges in a safe environment as well as reach your utmost potential while helping you to explore tools that you can use in your everyday experiences. I believe very strongly in respect and forming a collaborative relationship with my clients. You are the expert on your life.
I provide individual, couples and family therapy. Treatment specialization includes: women in transition, prenatal and postpartum issues, relationship issues, marital adjustment and stress management. My therapeutic orientation is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy, however I incorporate a wide variety of techniques to fit the needs of my clients.
Please inquire about scheduling, telephone sessions as well as at-home appointments. I do offer evening and weekend appointments for those individuals who desire counseling but have daytime commitments. In addition to my education and training, I draw on my multicultural background and experience as a wife and mother.
